Redbubble, Printify, and Etsy… OH MY

Sep 22, 2025 | Business

I’ve always loved creating. Whether it’s sketching on my iPad, tinkering with craft supplies, or editing on my computer, there’s something so satisfying about making things come to life. But I’ve learned that for me, creating isn’t just about the act itself—it’s about giving what I make a purpose. Sometimes that purpose is practical, other times it’s simply sharing it with the world.

When I was a kid, I’d spend hours with Play-Doh™. I loved the smell and the squish, but I’d always get stuck on what to make. Without a prompt, I’d default to the same little shapes over and over again… until inspiration struck. My crowning achievement? A Play-Doh McDonald’s Snack Wrap. Yes, really.

That sense of play has carried into how I create now. I’m always looking for ways to turn a spark of an idea into something others can enjoy, too.

Discovering Patterns

I’ve known about seamless patterns for ages (I even learned how to make them with paper), but I never thought about designing them for actual products. For years, the few patterns I made lived only in digital projects.

Then, thanks to a steady stream of ads on my social media, I started experimenting more seriously. Instead of selling the patterns themselves, I began applying them to products. It’s been such a fun way to give my doodles new life!

And honestly, I’m always open to suggestions. If you have a pattern idea—whether it’s quirky, seasonal, or totally out of left field—I’d love to hear it!

Where You Can Find My Work

One of the trickiest parts of being an independent artist is figuring out the best place to share my designs. I’ve tried a few different platforms, but here’s where I’m most active now:

  • Redbubble: This is where you’ll find the widest variety of my designs. Stickers, magnets, tote bags, shirts, mousepads—you name it. I’m always uploading new work there, so it’s like a rotating gallery of my ideas.

  • This Website (Direct Shop): Here, you’ll see things you won’t find anywhere else—like custom gift wrap, glassware, and even puzzles featuring my photography. Shopping here supports me most directly and gives you access to my most unique items.

  • Threadless: I’ve more or less retired my Threadless shop, but it still has some of my older designs if you’re curious.

  • Etsy: This does exist, but like my Threadless shop, it’s not really updated often. Before I figured out how to set up this website, I shared some of my wrapping papers and such over there.

Beyond the Shop

While I love creating my own designs, I’m also still open for client work. Helping people bring their brands to life is one of my favorite things to do. Whether you need a logo, business cards, a brochure, or even a full digital facelift, I’d love to collaborate.

✨ Thanks for being here and supporting my creative journey. Even just reading, sharing, and cheering me on makes a difference. And if something I’ve made happens to brighten your desk, wardrobe, or gift-giving—well, that’s the best kind of purpose my art could have.
